Currently CMA has the following study groups for parents
Study Groups
A group of like minded individuals get together for an hour or so
once a week, to systematically study the scriptural texts .
The books as per the curriculum prescribed by Guruji are easy to read &
understand so that the group can gradually build up a firm understanding of the Vedanta.
A typical study group starts with some basic shlokas.
Then each person takes turns to read a para or two of the book currently being read &
discussions follow if anyone has any doubts in comprehending it. A simple prayer /shloka ends the study group session.
An experienced study group person acts as a facilitator to guide the group & prevent the group from digressing
away from the topic at hand.
Study groups have benefitted adults of all ages & added a new dimension to their way of thinking & living,
to make them happier & "healthier" individuals.
